Hi guys,
Just getting to know the morph framework and also looking at possibly using the creativa themelet for a jomsocial site.

How is the jomsocial work going for creativa?

Also, is there a way to use the same type of modal popups that jomsocial uses (facebook-ish) rather than the other ones you use on the creativa theme. So that it all ties in together for the end user and feels like its all part of the same site. Also possibility of reusing code? cheers

Hey Peetree :)
You can keep an eye on my progress on the new Jomsocial template here: http://hybridthemes.com/jomsocial/frontpage/index.php?view=frontpage. You can also follow me on twitter, as i'll be tweeting as i update the wireframes (my twitter handle is connectr).

Regarding the lightbox, that is an interesting point and i agree it would definitely be better to have them the same for consistency. That said, the plugin they are using is only loaded via Jomsocial, so it wouldnt be present on non-Jomsocial pages, but i guess it would be easy enough to include it again on all non Jomsocial pages.

The only question is to whether the plugin supports the same functionality as the colorbox one - specifically loading the contents of any div of another page (which is how i am loading the login and registration pages in the lightbox). From what i've seen colorbox is the only lightbox (that i'm aware of) to support this functionality.

So to summarize, I'm not 100% sure loading the login/registration pages would be possible, but maybe we can convince Azrul and his team to create a login/register modules that can be used instead.

Hope that helps :)

I want to thank you guys for all the hard work you've put into the Morph framework. It's an incredible design component for Joomla and taken my ability to build great websites to a whole new level. You've made customizing templates accessible to the average web developer and now that I've used it on my last three sites I don't know what I would do without it.
