Hi Brent & fellow Joburgers...
I hate to be the dose of reality but this group has 16 members! And we all live/work in JHB which means it is highly unlikely that even 50% of us could get together on the same day. There are just too few of us for this to be viable right now!
BUT - there always is one! We have this platform, right here, where we can throw ideas around for now. Those who need to meet for collaboration, will do so when required. But why not start the collaboration right here, in this group space. This is what JS is made for!
I do agree with Brent that more collaboration is called for. We are leagues behind the rest of the world in terms of e-stuff and the only way we can hope to catch up is if we support each other. We really do need to work together to create a South African web presence.
